NEW!

One AAV Antibody for the Detection of Multiple AAV Serotypes

PROGEN offers an extensive portfolio of AAV antibodies designed to target specific serotypes. However, many research applications benefit from the flexibility of using a single antibody that recognizes a wide range of AAV serotypes and variants.

To address this need, PROGEN has developed a unique recombinant anti-pan AAV antibody that shows robust binding reactivity across all AAV serotypes, except for AAV12. It also shows reactivity with numerous additional novel AAV capsids, including new variants and shuffled vectors. This antibody provides you with a versatile and efficient analytical tool for AAV capsid production, titer determination, and gene therapy development, ultimately improving therapeutic efficacy and safety.

Anti-pan AAV Benefits

Versatile

Demonstrates robust cross reactivity with fully assembled and intact capsids of multiple widely used AAV serotypes.

Innovative

Recognizes several, novel AAV capsids and holds the potential to detect a broader range than those tested to date.

Reliable

Based on PROGEN´s extensive experience in AAV antibody development and our well-established quality control strategy.

Flexible

We are continuously advancing the usability of our anti-pan AAV antibodies for our customers by expanding its usability for different research applications. This involves developing additional antibody types, such as a human antibody, along with biotin and fluorescently labelled conjugates.

Cross Reactivity with multiple AAV serotypes and variants

Figure A:

Dot blot analysis showing the comparison of cross-reactivity of the anti-pan AAV (mouse chimeric antibody, IgG2a, catalog number 690383) with a multi-serotype recognizing AAV antibody from another vendor. A concentration of 0.1 ug/ml of the anti-pan AAV antibody and 1 ug/ml of the AAV antibody from the alternative vendor was used. Additionally, a total amount of 1E+10 capsids was applied. Denatured capsids were used as a control, to verify binding of the antibody to conformational epitopes. Please note that the two antibody experiments were carried out on separate occasions with different secondary antibodies, which could impact the reliability of direct dot blot comparison.

Figure B:

Cross-reactivity of the anti-pan AAV (mouse chimeric antibody, IgG2a, catalog number 690383) with AAV serotypes and variants, using dot blot analysis. A concentration of 0.2 ug/ml of the anti-pan AAV was used. Additionally, a total amount of 1E+10 capsids was applied. Denatured capsids were used as a control, to exclude binding to non-assembled capsids.
