One AAV Antibody for the Detection of Multiple AAV Serotypes
PROGEN offers an extensive portfolio of AAV antibodies designed to target specific serotypes. However, many research applications benefit from the flexibility of using a single antibody that recognizes a wide range of AAV serotypes and variants.
To address this need, PROGEN has developed a unique recombinant anti-pan AAV antibody that shows robust binding reactivity across all AAV serotypes, except for AAV12. It also shows reactivity with numerous additional novel AAV capsids, including new variants and shuffled vectors. This antibody provides you with a versatile and efficient analytical tool for AAV capsid production, titer determination, and gene therapy development, ultimately improving therapeutic efficacy and safety.

Dot blot analyses were performed to compare the crossreactivity of the anti-pan AAV antibody (clones 1C4M, IgG2a and 1C4H, IgG1) with a multi-serotype recognizing AAV antibody from an alternative vendor. In both panels, A and B, a total of 1E+10 capsids were tested per dot. Denatured capsids (1E+10 capsids/dot) served as a control to exclude binding to VP proteins, here exemplary shown with 1C4M (same results with 1C4H (data not shown)).
