Shipping and Delivery

PROGEN uses Priority Delivery Service Federal Express (FedEx) for international shipments. Please notify us if your institution requires the use of a freight forwarder. All freight charges are sent collect, unless prior arrangements have been made. We ship our products directly from our warehouses in Germany, UK or USA within 3 working days after receipt of the purchase order. Shipping time depends on the country of destination.

* Shipments on dry ice or on freeze packs will be shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays unless requested otherwise.

Handling Charges

Shipping costs depend on package size, weight and destination. Please get in touch for specific requests. The shipment of hazardous items is governed by the Air Transport Association (IATA). 

Some products may require special packaging and shipping. Chilled items incur the following additional charges per shipment:

Special customer requests regarding filling, packaging, shipping, required documentation or other shipping aspects should be communicated when placing the order to assure compliance. If a shipment is delayed or in jeopardy due to customer's failure to communicate special information or requirements, the customer shall be responsible for shipment costs. 

Orders & Shipment

For orders within Germany PROGEN charges 19% VAT. For EU customers, we kindly ask to provide your institute's/company's VAT number, otherwise we will have to charge 19% VAT. We do not charge VAT for customers outside of Germany and the EU.
PROGEN sells and ships worldwide. Please note that regional import conditions and legislation have to be considered. Please contact us for specific requests.
In our web shop payment is simple and safe via credit card. We accept Visa and Master Card. Please understand that for first time customers we have to ask for prepayment. For established customers, we offer payment on a 30 days net basis via bank transfer. Please contact us if you would like to receive an invoice in US-Dollar.
You will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation shortly after placing an order via our web shop indicating that the order request has been forwarded correctly. Within 3 working days our customer service will get back to you with an official order confirmation.
Products listed in our web shop are usually in stock if not stated otherwise. If you require larger amounts (5 items or more of one product) or a specific lot, please feel free to contact us.
The easiest way to order is our web shop. We also accept orders via our e-mail form. In addition, our customer service is happy to help with product and order requests on the phone. Our business hours are 8 am to 4 pm CET.

In case of a production bottleneck we will inform you about the estimated delivery date. Also, we routinely track all outbound shipments and will contact you in case there is a delay due to customs clearance etc. Please contact our customer service for more information.
