For characterization of different stages of infection and very useful for the analysis of the AAV9 assembly process. ADK9-1R specifically reacts with intact AAV9 particles, empty and full capsids. Recognizes a conformational epitope of assembled capsids, not present in denatured capsid proteins and native but unassembled capsid proteins. The antibody cannot be used for immunoblotting.
The antibody is also useful for neutralizing experiments.
The ADK9-1R antibody recognizes the same epitope as the ADK9 antibody (Cat. No. 690162).

ADK9 is a mouse monoclonal IgA antibody, while ADK9-1R is a recombinant mouse IgG1 antibody. Both antibodies recongize the same epitope, only the antibody backbone is different.
There is no difference in performance.
