AAV particle antibodies recognize conformational epitopes on viral capsids that are only present on fully assembled capsids. These epitopes are made up of distant amino acids either from the same protein or from different proteins that are close by.
You can use particle antibodies to
Analyze: track the location of virus particles and identify protein-protein interactions
Purify: suitable for AAV particle purification using affinity chromatography
Characterize: determine your AAV capsid titers
Control: analyze the condition of your AAV particles
